Senior teacher night

For the varsity team every year the seniors on the team get pick a faculty member to sponsor. I had my night to shine last night. I sponsored one of the attendance ladies for my faculty member. It felt so good to sponsor her because she has helped me so much in my high school career. Another reason is I think we as a school don't be as appreciative of these ladies in our school. Some of the things I said about her that she always makes time for me and she always is smiling. Some of the things she about me is that she has knew me since my sixth grade year and that I can always be counted on.

Next Thursday

Next Thursday is a big night for my special Olympics team. The reason why is we have a practice with the varsity girls team. We usually have a blast especially me. This night is a tiredness night for us but very fun at the same time. When the varsity coach was telling the varsity team at practice today I was excited. The way it works is usually one varsity player is paired with one or two special Olympics athlete. Who ever gets paired with me usually get one other athlete because I know what I am doing. That day I will have a very long day because varsity will still have practice then we will combine with my team.

Lady dragon day

Lady dragon day is a day were the varsity, junior varsity and the freshman teams combine and play a fun scrimmage and have picnic. I got to participate this year and it was a blast. The position I played most of the time was mid-field. I started out as right mid then center mid then finally left mid. I was on the green team and the other team was white.White was the first to score. Then after white scored another goal. The green came out more hungry to score in the second half to score so most of our scoring came in the 2nd half. I scored one goal in regulation time to tie it all up then we had to go in penalty shots I made my penalty shot. I was so happy when i scored my first goal as well as my teammates were for me. They were the main reason i scored that goal because they never gave up on me and believed that I was able to score and kept passing the ball to me so I could score and I eventually scored. All my teammates ran back to me and gave me high fives. After the scrimmage we got our pictures taken for various things including banquet. Then we had a picnic with hot dogs, cookies and chips and much more.  

The Week at a Glance

This time of the year is my busiest time of the year. For example this week I have to stay after school everyday but Thursday. First on Monday I have a start of a new term at school which en tales two new classes. Those two classes are my 1st and 2nd hours and 1st hour is food and nutrition and my new 2nd hour is family relations. After school I just have soccer practice then I finally get to come home. Tuesday is my really long day because my varsity team has an away game. First I have school then the game that does not start until seven p.m. Wednesday is nice because especially with having a game the night before because we have late start. Then in the afternoon we have soccer practice as normal. On Thursday I have school then I come home on the bus and then around 530 I have to come back to school for a home game. Finally on Friday I have school then practice.       

My week

This past week I have been busy as a bee. On Monday my varsity soccer team started there tryout process. On this day it was pouring down rain. On Tuesday we had are second day of tryouts. It was kind of snowing outside and for both of those days we were outside. On Wednesday was my long day at school because this day was team selections and tryouts. I am happy for everyone who made varsity or any other team. On Wednesday someone's mom brought the whole varsity team pizza for after we made the team since we were their till 720 that day. On Thursday and Friday we had practice both days. On Thursday we got our bags and jerseys. On Saturday we were so post to have a scrimmage tournament but it got cancelled because it is snowing outside.

Moving is not just stressful for the parents but it can be stressful kids with special needs. Here is some tips for helping transition them to the new house.

• Before move try to tell your child if they didn't the house where their room will be in that house and explain how it looks.
• If you are moving school districts make sure you and your child can see what program they would be in
